Members can post images directly to this category, with no need (or ability) to create albums within the category. Instead of creating a new album, members use the New Image button within the Gallery/Category itself instead of going to "My Albums.

There is also a category for open image albums that any member can post into (if you'd like one created which doesn't exist, please contact an administrator), and, a category for open images of albums created, maintained, and organized by each individual member.
